As an L2 SOC Analyst at Avanade, you will play a key role in safeguarding enterprise systems by monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity threats. You will work closely with cross‐functional teams to enhance security posture, resolve escalated incidents, and contribute to the continuous improvement of security operations. Your expertise will help create a safer digital environment for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity threats and incidents affecting client systems and networks.
Work collaboratively with analysts, engineers, and consultants to deliver high‐quality security solutions and actionable recommendations.
Manage complex or escalated cases while providing guidance, support, and training to junior analysts.
Define security use cases and correlation rules using KQL.
Develop and maintain security playbooks (Logic Apps) to improve automation and incident response.
Qualifications
Technical Skills
Previous L2 SOC experience with hands‐on cybersecurity incident and threat analysis across on‐prem and cloud environments, especially Microsoft/Azure.
Proficiency with Microsoft Sentinel and the Microsoft Defender XDR suite.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Security tools in M365 and Azure ecosystems.
Experience in designing and maintaining LogicApps playbooks.
English level: B2 or above.
