Overview
The Opportunity Be a part of a team leading the charge in the energy transition. In this role, you will join the Service organization in Spain, working closely with customers and internal teams to deliver high-quality Installation & Commissioning and Service activities for High Voltage equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring safe, reliable and on-time execution at customer sites, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and long-term asset performance.
Responsibilities
- Execute installation and commissioning activities for High Voltage equipment at customer sites.
- Perform service activities including maintenance, repairs, upgrades, retrofits and replacements.
- Identify, analyze and troubleshoot technical issues on-site or remotely.
- Ensure all work is executed in compliance with Hitachi Energy HSE standards.
- Prepare, coordinate and verify availability and quality of tools, materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of service activities.
- Build strong relationships with customers and understand their operational needs.
- Propose technical solutions and upgrades to improve system reliability and performance.
Your background
- Technical diploma in electrical engineering, electromechanics or mechatronics.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high voltage, electrical or mechanical field service.
- Proven experience in installation and commissioning of HV equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Good command of Spanish; English is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within Spain (>80%).
