Our client is a large organization in the Energy and Natural Resources sector, recognized for its focus on sustainability and innovation. Their headquarters are located in Madrid, where they manage strategic projects at both national and international levels
¿Qué harás en tu nuevo puesto?
3. Responsible for month-end and year-end closing activities: review of accounting, intercompany account reconciliations, reconciliation of Spanish GAAP books to IFRS, contributing to the Group's financial consolidation process to ensure accurate and timely reporting
4. Prepare project annual budgets and conduct quarterly forecast reviews, trend analysis and cash flows preparation
5. Cash management, preparation of payments, relationship with banks
6. Responsible for managing relationship with lending institutions and oversee project finance loan compliance activities
7. Participate and support internal and external audits
8. Responsible for supervising local taxes filing as per the statutory requirements and ensure timely submission. Manage overall financial reporting requirements related to taxes both internally or externally
9. Be the liaison with local tax authorities in connection with external accounting and tax consultants
10. Responsible for all data collection related to overall reporting requirements for the local legal entities
11. Support continuous improvement initiatives for finance processes
¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?
12. Degree in Accounting/Finance and a recognized accounting qualification
13. At least 5 years of experience, ideally within an energy, utility, industrial company or similar industry
14. Big 4 ideally
15. Profiles with relevant industry experience will also be considered
16. Strong technical skills and hands-on experience in Spanish GAAP, IFRS, consolidation and tax
17. Experience with SAP management
