Business Development Manager – Lisbon/Madrid
CLIENT
Linum Consult’s client is an international design and build main contractor, specialising in large commercial and industrial buildings. They are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to cover the geographies of Portugal and Spain to join their team in Lisbon or Madrid.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Overseeing the entire business development process; using and updating the CRM system
* Seeking new business opportunities in Spain and Portugal
* Prospecting companies looking to implement activities on a national level, in line with the strategy defined by the company’s Business Development department
* Maintaining and developing your network of contacts and information likely to generate new business opportunities for the company
* Participating in networking events
* Establishing specific Customer Account Plans (developing and defining a sales strategy and action plan)
* Determining the commercial environment of offers to establish the appropriate sales strategy to obtain maximum added value
* Executing account plans and updating the sales strategy and action plan to identify and qualify projects; make binding commercial offers for the company’s technical resources; signing design & build contracts with performance commitments
PROFILE
* Degree qualified in Business Development, Engineering, Architecture, or similar
* At least 10 years of experience in selling turnkey construction projects
* Strong knowledge of urbanisation, construction legislation, and financial aspects of construction projects
* Fluency in spoken and written Portuguese and Spanish, with English or French an advantage
* The right to live and work in the EU
