General Responsibilities
As the Business Development Specialist, you will play a key role in defining the company's portfolio and providing new solutions to patients. You will support candidate identification, project evaluation through cross-functional teams, and propose selected candidates to the board. Collaboration with the Business Development team and external departments is essential.
Specific Responsibilities
- Prospect, identify, and evaluate new business opportunities worldwide
- Conduct in-depth market research and therapeutic area analysis
- Identify customer needs, respond to inquiries, and propose creative solutions or business models
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, solve problems, and clarify doubts during project evaluation
- Provide regular reports on progress and opportunities
- Support other activities in the Business Development Department
Requirements and Personal Skills
- Education: Pharmacy or life sciences degree
- Languages: Spanish and English (advanced)
- Experience: 1-2 years in the pharma industry, preferably in business development (generic sector)
- Knowledge: Excel skills, data analysis
- Travel: No, occasional to 1-2 conferences/year
- Personal Skills: Excellent communication, proactive, goal-oriented, self-motivated, decision-making ability, independent and team work skills, good organizational and problem-solving skills.
