About the Role

Providing support and advice on international accounting standards (IFRS) to the subsidiaries in which the Group operates, monitoring and execution of controls relating to the verification of the correct application of the Accounting Policy defined by the Group, as well as providing support on the preparation of the Annual and Interim Consolidated Financial Statements and Management Report of the Cellnex Group.
What You’ll Do
* Analyse the accounting treatment of contracts under IFRS and elaborate the accounting memorandum of the analysis.
* Participate in the process of implementing new IFRS accounting standards in the Group.
* Participate in the design of internal controls to ensure the correct application of the Group accounting standards.
* Participate in the process of establishing and standardizing accounting policies of the Cellnex Group and provide support to subsidiaries on its practical application.
* Analyse and evaluate consolidated financial information.
* Participate in the preparation of documents for the Group’s governing bodies (Board of Directors and Audit and Risk Management Committee).
* Actively collaborate in the preparation of the Consolidated Annual Accounts and the Consolidated Management Report of the Cellnex Group under IFRS standards (semi-annually and annually).
* Assess and analyse the impairment of assets.
* Participate in the monitoring and coordination of relationship with the Group's external auditors in relation to the financial audit of the Group.
* Control and monitor status with subsidiaries about individual annual accounts of the Group's subsidiaries - local GAAP.
* Coordinate with Global IT, external consultants, and Integrations Dept to ensure timely and efficient implementation of all aspects and requirements in the timeframe stipulated in the accounting standards.
What We’re Looking For
Education
* Bachelor of Business Administration, Economics or similar.
Languages
* English: Advanced (Must-have)
* Spanish: Advanced (Must-have)
Tools & Systems
* MS Office: Advanced (Must-have)
* SAP-RE: Basic (Valuable)
* SAP-FI: Intermediate (Valuable)
Experience
* More than 5 years of experience in Big Four audit.
* High level of experience in IFRS (International Accounting Standards)
* Valuable experience in an international environment
* Critical experience: Knowledge of the current market, technologies, trends in the wireless telecommunications infrastructures markets.
