Large Format Design Category Product Manager
Description
The worldwide category product manager will play a key role in driving growth in the Large Format Design business. The product manager will own a specific segment of the portfolio, maximizing market share and profit, leading 4P plans when needed. (S)he will also be the product management lead for NPIs in his/her portfolio space as well managing overall product life cycle.
The candidate will lead reviews, meetings at Director, VP level when needed and will drive initiatives in the organization across geographies.
This position requires a professional who combines strategic business acumen, product expertise, and strong communication and leadership skills.
The ideal candidate applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business challenges, frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods, and acts as a trusted advisor across cross‑functional teams. This individual will represent the organization externally with partners and customers, providing direction and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
NPI Leadership & Strategy
* As product manager, contribute to the successful execution of NPI plans, including product value proposition communication, pricing strategy, promotion, and RTM plan
* Ensure smooth execution in areas such as objectives setting, forecasting, rollover strategy, system setup and sales enablement delivery.
* Maintain tight communication with markets and local category.
Product Life Cycle
* Ensure overall pricing logic through management of PFVs and list price management.
* Ensure product communication clarity through sales tools.
* Define End of Life and End of Service Life, obsolescence strategy and timings in partnership with Service.
Business Maximization
* Deeply understand customers, markets, product landscape, business models, and sales dynamics to identify and maximize growth opportunities and deliver commercial innovation.
* Develop financial models, forecasts, and business cases to support strategic decisions and investment allocation.
* Drive the global GTM strategy for the 24" portfolio, focusing on the 4P’s.
* Coordinate 4P plans definition, execution and monitoring and integration in business plans.
Voice of the Customer
* Provide inputs to future roadmap discussions and impact in long term planning
* Assess competitiveness of HP future solutions vs competitive alternatives
Education and Experience Required
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.
* More than 3 years of professional experience in Marketing, Sales, Product or Business Planning.
* Competence in excel
* Fluent in English.
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Strong project management
