At ASTEK Iberia, we are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join a leading organization in the life sciences / data-driven sector, working on high-impact statistical applications in regulated environments in the healthcare sector.
Main responsibilities:
Migrate legacy SAS tools into modern Python-based solutionsImplement and validate statistical methods (e.G. Bayesian models, confidence intervals)Ensure accuracy by comparing Python outputs with validated datasetsContribute to software validation, QA documentation, and traceabilityCollaborate closely with statisticians, QA teams, and technical leads
Who are you?
5+ years of experience in Python with statistical applicationsSolid background in statistics or applied mathematicsExperience in software validation or regulated environmentsKnowledge of SAS (or ability to understand legacy logic)Strong documentation and communication skillsMaster's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Engineering or similarEnglish: C1 (required)
