What’s the challenge?
We are seeking a visionary and results‑driven Manager/Director of Business Development to lead our strategic growth within the global payments landscape. This role will be instrumental in driving the worldwide expansion across key verticals. By leveraging deep market insights, forging strategic partnerships, and leading a high‑performing team, you will commercialize our payment solutions on a global scale and accelerate market share growth. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional strategic planning skills, profound industry expertise, and a proven track record in cross‑cultural team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and Execute Global Market Entry & Growth Strategy: Formulate and lead the business expansion roadmap for critical industries worldwide, including Digital & Interactive Entertainment (Gaming, Digital Content, Streaming), Travel & Lifestyle (Online Travel, Airlines, Hospitality, Education Services), Technology Services (SaaS, Cloud Computing, Big Data, IoT, AdTech), Advanced Manufacturing (Automotive, Consumer Electronics, Smart Home, DTC Brands), and Cross‑Border E‑commerce (Retail, Supply Chain, Logistics).
* Architect Customer‑Centric Solutions: Develop a deep understanding of the business models, financial workflows, and pain points of target industries globally. Integrate our core capabilities—including but not limited to global payment acquiring, multi‑currency account solutions, FX risk management, virtual payment products, platform‑based collection, and global payout networks—to design and deliver compelling, comprehensive fintech solutions that foster deep collaboration and co‑create value with clients.
* Lead a High‑Performance Business Development Team: Recruit, mentor, and motivate a globally‑minded business development team. Establish a robust business management framework to empower the team in efficiently managing client engagement, negotiation, deal closure, and early‑stage support, consistently exceeding business targets.
Qualifications
* Experience: 3–10+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or key account management serving enterprise (B2B) clients within the FinTech, payments, banking, or related technology sectors.
* Industry Expertise: Deep understanding and a successful track record concerning the business operations, capital flow, and fintech application needs of the core industries mentioned above within the global ecosystem. Possess an established network of industry contacts.
* Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Product, Technology, Compliance, Operations, and other departments to drive complex projects to completion.
* Strategic Acumen: Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to translate market insights into clear business strategies and actionable plans.
* Communication Skills: Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with clients, partners, and internal executives at all levels.
