Job Summary
The Health & Safety Coordinator ensures a safe, compliant, and sustainable work environment across all locations (office, hybrid, remote). The role manages health, safety, and environmental risks, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports ESG initiatives while promoting a strong culture of prevention and employee wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with H&S regulations and maintain policies, procedures, and risk prevention measures
- Identify and manage workplace risks, including incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
- Coordinate audits, emergency plans, and liaise with regulatory bodies and external partners
- Deliver H&S training, promote employee awareness, and support wellbeing initiatives
- Ensure H&S compliance of suppliers, contractors, and workplaces
- Support environmental management (ISO 14001), including monitoring, compliance, and ESG alignment
Requirements & Skills
- Strong H&S and risk prevention knowledge
- Understanding of sustainability and environmental practices
- Analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- 3–5 years in Health & Safety or similar role
- Knowledge of Spanish H&S regulations (international exposure is a plus)
- Relevant H&S qualification required;
degree is a plus - Eligible for Servicio de Prevención Mancomunado (min. 3 specialties)
- ISO 14001 or environmental knowledge is advantageous
