Senior Biostatistician Consultant (F/M/X) • Cequelinos, Galicia, EspañaAmaris is looking for a Senior Consultant in Health Economics and HTA to join our dynamic and international team in Barcelona! As part of our HEMA department (Health Economics & Market Access).
Information about HEMA: We are a dynamic and expert team of more than 80 collaborators, located in 8 countries (Canada, U.S.A, Spain, France, U.K., China, Bulgaria and Tunisia), gathering more than 15 different nationalities. Our main activities are Health Economics, Evidence Value & Access, and Biostatistics.
Responsibilities
Act as a lead analyst on projects including ITC, Network Meta‐Analysis, clinical trial data analysis, Real World Evidence studies.
Interact with the client to understand their needs and identify optimal methodological solutions.
Lead implementation of the corresponding solutions, supported by statistical analysts, and develop high‐quality deliverables.
Lead client meetings and act as a project manager on projects including ITC, NMA, RWE, and analyses of clinical trials.
Act as the main point of contact to the client and coordinate the work of team members internally.
Represent company expertise in capabilities, presentations, conferences, and external events; contribute to preparation of proposals.
Provide management and technical support to other team members within the department; coach junior team members (guidance on methodological expertise, soft skills, and professional development).
Deliver on a cluster of projects within the Statistics delivery (RWE, evidence synthesis, biostatistics).
Act as a Project Manager, Lead Analyst, and/or technical advisor on projects within your specialty.
Accountable for quality checking that the staffing on projects within your cluster is optimal.
Safeguard quality of deliverables within your cluster – set standards of excellence and transmit know‐how to project teams and delivery managers under your supervision.
Support business development: develop project extensions or proactive opportunities with existing clients, strengthen partnerships with key accounts, and support proposal development within area of expertise.
Qualifications
Advanced degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology (minimum MS degree or equivalent).
4+ years of relevant working experience in Statistics and/or RWE.
Proficiency in R or SAS programming.
Experience working with cross‐functional teams (stats/HE/market access/other).
Strong knowledge of statistical methods for clinical trial data analyses, RWE and/or NMA.
Extensive experience in ITC.
Creative thinking and problem‐solving attitude.
Experience in project team supervision and leadership skills.
Fluency in English (written & spoken); French or any additional language is a plus.
