Órbita, a leader in the engineering sector, is looking to hire a mechanical or chemical engineer to join our development team at our Alcàsser headquarters.
* Generation of equipment specifications for validation and procurement of industrial equipment.
* Dimensioning and validation of installations based on theoretical calculations.
* Creation and validation of detailed construction drawings for manufacturing in workshops.
* Preparation of procurement lists.
* Monitoring and validation of purchases, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
* Development of documentation according to quality standards.
The role involves technical coordination within the project team (mechanical, electrical, and programming), as well as overseeing the fabrication and integration of designed installations.

* Experience in designing industrial equipment related to the continuous process industry (tanks, reactors, skids, platforms, hoppers).
* Calculation of fluid and solid transport installations (pressure drops, mass balances, time studies, heat transfer, mixing, and agitation).
* Design and sizing of pneumatic installations.
* Knowledge of equipment and processes related to food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries.
* Understanding of process diagrams and P&ID.
* Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
* Knowledge of 3D design applications (Inventor, AutoCAD Plant3D) is a plus.
