Functions and Responsibilities
You will be part of a fast-growing international group undergoing a deep transformation of its finance operations. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the company’s accounting and tax information in Spain, while supporting the standardization and scalability of financial processes across the group.
You will operate in a dynamic, technology-driven environment, working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to deliver high-quality financial data, ensure full regulatory compliance, and contribute to operational excellence as the company continues to expand internationally.
Core Responsibilities
Billing & Revenue Management: Own the end‑to‑end billing process for the Spanish entities, ensuring accurate invoice issuance, revenue control, and proper recording in the financial systems.
Accounting Cycle & Month‑End Close: Lead the full accounting cycle and monthly close for the Spanish entity, delivering timely and accurate financial statements in line with group standards.
NetSuite Technical Ownership: Act as the local NetSuite subject‑matter expert, ensuring that all financial data is complete, accurate, fully validated, and consistently maintained within the ERP.
Tax Compliance & Advisory Coordination: Manage local tax compliance (VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and related filings), coordinating with external tax advisors to ensure full regulatory compliance and mitigate any risk of penalties.
Multi‑Entity Financial Oversight: Oversee and consolidate financial information across multiple international subsidiaries, ensuring consistent accounting policies and alignment across different jurisdictions.
Audit & Financial Reporting: Prepare high‑quality financial reporting packages for management and investors and coordinate local audit processes in collaboration with external auditors.
What You Bring
Strong technical foundation in accounting, billing, consolidation, and Spanish tax compliance.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting departments or audit environments; prior experience in Big4 firms is considered a strong differentiator.
Proven experience managing multi‑entity accounting in international, multi‑currency environments.
Advanced proficiency in Oracle NetSuite and financial reporting / EPM tools such as Abacum.
Highly organized and detail‑oriented profile, with the ability to operate autonomously in a role requiring a high level of ownership and accountability.
Fluency in Spanish and English is required; Portuguese is a highly valued plus given the group’s international footprint.
Exceptional attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven, high‑growth environment undergoing constant transformation.
