As an Instrumentation and Control Commissioning Engineer you will be responsible for performing all I&C commissioning activities for the assigned systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation of the equipment as specified and you will participate in the system walkdown and handover process with erection team. Part of the job will be done in the dockyard of south of Spain and on offshore platforms..
How You’ll Make an Impact
2. Perform all I&C commissioning activities as well as control optimization and troubleshooting using Siemens SIMATIC PCS7 as well as visualization system CopaData Zenon or similar systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation of the equipment as specified and liaises with other involved parties such as erection, sub-contractors, engineering, employer and authorities.
3. Align with site regulations, EHS requirements, PTW and RFFE procedure.
4. Act as Electrically Skilled Person within the context of the PTW, thus providing safe working conditions after ECC issuance.
5. Participate in the system walkdowns and handover process with erection team. Take over the respective system by signing the Erection Clearance Certificate and contribute to the LOP list.
6. Put in place I&C instructions for abnormal operational situations which are not covered in the O&M manual.
7. Prepare commissioning site documentation and the required Red Line documentation on time. Conduct and detail the On-The-Job Training to the Customer.
What You Bring
8. Degree (bachelor, master) in electrical or control engineering or technician. Ideally combined with previous site experience, preferably abroad.
9. Knowledge of MS Office applications.
10. Fluent English, further language skills desirable.
11. High willingness to travel and live abroad, worldwide, continuously and for several months.
12. Self-sufficient, independent, quality-oriented personality.
13. Team player mindset, excellent adaptability.
14. Openness to other cultures.
