About the role
As Solution Architect – SAP Production Planning (PP), you design and implement production planning solutions in SAP that drive operational efficiency and compliance in Fresenius Kabi’s U.S. operations. You ensure seamless integration of SAP PP with other modules such as MM, SD, and QM, while aligning system capabilities with business requirements. Acting as a trusted expert, you will support both day-to-day operations and global transformation programs.
Responsibilities
Design, configure, and optimize SAP PP solutions to support production planning and shop floor execution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end integration with MM, SD, QM, and external systems
Adapt SAP PP processes to U.S.-specific requirements while ensuring compliance with global standards
Support implementation projects, validation activities, and regulatory compliance efforts in a pharmaceutical context
Conduct solution testing, create documentation, and deliver training to end users
Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions for continuous improvement
Contribute SAP PP expertise to major global transformation programs, with potential full-time assignments to project teams
Your profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
Minimum 6 years’ process knowledge in production planning and manufacturing operations
Minimum 6 years’ SAP PP system experience, including configuration and deployment
Expertise in integration with MM, SD, QM, and related modules
Strong knowledge of U.S.-specific requirements in manufacturing and compliance
Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or medical devices is preferred
Excellent communication, presentation, and conflict resolution skills
Strong intercultural awareness and ability to work in global, cross-functional teams
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Willingness to travel
