YOUR FUTURE TASK:
* We rely on your expertise when it comes to performing market, credit and liquidity risk monitoring and analysis covering all GETEC Platforms - including risk and price reporting, and stress testing.
* You will be involved in the coordination of risk committees, providing relevant inputs such as performing risk and pricing reviews and post-implementation reviews for new products, counterparties and procurement strategies.
* Additionally, you will support the maintenance of Commodity Risk policy, manual and procedure documents and tracking compliance with them.
* In your role, you will support pricing activities including maintaining price forward curves (PFCs), providing pricing data to stakeholders, performing data quality and market conformity checks, performing pricing reviews, and providing independent pricing calculations for non-standard products.
* You will be involved in the building and maintenance of the pricing engine.
* You will also support maintenance of methodology and implementation of models owned by the team including market, liquidity and credit risk models, complex product pricing models and load decomposition models, including performing backtesting and model validation.
YOUR PROFILE:
* At least 5 years of experience in market, credit, and/or liquidity risk management, and pricing within the energy sector.
* You have programming skills (e.g., Python, C#, or other OOP languages).
* Quant development, analysis and/or modelling experience in Energy markets or in a Risk Management context is a plus.
* You have fluent English skills; German is an advantage.
* You have strong analytical skills, a hands‑on approach, and the ability to interpret complex data and draw action‑oriented conclusions.
