As the Procurement Category Manager for Wind TCI and Construction, you will be responsible for key strategic procurement activities for new projects on international projects, including in-land transportation, crane services, installation works and O M services. The Procurement Category Manager must coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during the procurement phase in order to plan and deliver accurate and cost-effective solutions, enabling Envision to be competitive, whilst also being in a position to deliver projects successfully across the European Region. brKey responsibilities: brGeneral brDeveloping sound, cost-effective category strategies for project procurement and strategic procurement, and ensure timely delivery of procurement budgets, enabling Envision to be competitive in terms of the subcontract portfolio, whilst also being in a position to deliver the project successfully brCoordination and liaison with other internal departments as part of the procurement process, including sales and project management brGuarantee the quality and accuracy of the procurement scope brEnsure the correct identification, assessment and quantification of all the potential subcontractor and suppliers related to the procurement scope brFacilitates the correct handover to project execution team for the management of the procured scope brDeployment of Envision ERP tools (Ariba SAP) and processes which enable the P2 P process Sales Support brDevelop relationships with suppliers and contractors with interests in Envision sales markets brFacilitate contract or consortium agreement negotiation and scope clarification with suppliers and contractors brDevelop with the support of technical team, standard interface documents for contracts Supplier Development brContinuously develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors, identifying best local market opportunities within your assigned countries. brEnsure contracts and terms, with support from Envision's legal department, are favourable and fit for purpose brConduct supplier reviews on completion of contracts Market Analysis brMonitoring and communicating with management regarding the supplier market brConducting cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvement brDeveloping risk management procedures to mitigate losses in the event of market changes brWorking closely with the company legal department to make sure contracts and terms are favourable Project Procurement brPrepare procurement management plans as required brEnsure accuracy of tender documentation and tenders brConduct reviews and prepare analysis for awarding decisions brAct as escalation point during project execution in case required Qualification and expertise: brDegree in relevant engineering or commerce qualification br5 to 10 years of experience in procurement and project management, preferably TCI category and renewable energy plan construction. brKnowledge in project management methods and techniques, commercial management and supply management brExperience on procurement of EPC/BOP/Logistics in renewable industry is preferred brExcellent IT skills including MS Office/Sharepoint and SAP Ariba. brExcellent communication skills in English is essential, both verbally and written.
