Serverfarm Critical Facilities Services (SFCFS) provides two main functions: delivering uninterrupted power and cooling to data centers and providing remote monitoring services to internal and external sites. The Critical Facilities Manager role is a customer‐ and team‐facing position that leads operational delivery and standards within SFCFS facilities. Key Accountabilities Oversee the maintenance and operation of data center facilities Provide leadership, management, and development ensuring operational commitments are met and exceeded Support SFCFS teams and stakeholders in delivery of all services within the scope of the role and provide technical service input to enhance company credibility Ensure safety of all SFCFS personnel and equipment onsite Ownership of MEP operations across Serverfarm Data Center Ensure all MEP plant and distribution infrastructure is operated and maintained safely, to best industry practice and within manufacturers recommendations Work with the Construction & Project team to ensure the site meets statutory and mandatory requirements Ensure all site MEP infrastructure operates within defined capacity standards Ensure all activities on site comply with Serverfarm Company Policies and Guidelines Required Skills Minimum of 7 years of experience in critical facilities operations within a hyperscale environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role Experience maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment to clearly defined criteria Understanding of the critical facilities environment and applicable working restrictions Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work under pressure with changing and often conflicting priorities to meet deadlines Benefits and Compensation Serverfarm is committed to providing an equal‐opportunity workplace and offers paid time off, paid holidays, a 401(k), and full coverage medical, dental, and vision benefits.
