We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Business Development division and help us improve people's lives. As a member of the Sacyr Concesiones development team, the Assistant Project Manager – Project Development ("APM") is to assist with the P3 bidding process from a developer / equity investor perspective on social and transportation projects across various regions. Responsibilities include:
1. Coordinate and manage the P3 bidding processes from start to finish.
2. Negotiate equity teaming and project bidding agreements.
3. Manage engagement of developer and lender advisors.
4. Prepare RFQ submissions.
5. Develop and implement bid management plans.
6. Create project schedules and track milestones.
7. Coordinate bid deliverables with project management teams across finance, design, construction, operations, and rehabilitation.
8. Negotiate contractual terms with the legal team related to DBFM, Design-Build, and Maintenance & Renewal contracts.
9. Coordinate with finance to secure project financing and manage lender processes.
10. Develop project costing in collaboration with finance, legal, construction, and operations teams.
11. Build relationships with partners, advisors, and clients.
12. Prepare reports on bid progress, project descriptions, and market assessments.
13. Support other development activities as needed.
14. Travel regularly for meetings.
Requirements and Competencies:
* Degree in civil or industrial engineering.
* Minimum 1 year of experience in construction production.
* Proficiency in Spanish and English.
* Quick learner with flexibility, attention to detail.
* Self-starter capable of working in a team environment on P3 bids.
* Ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.
* Strong understanding of P3 contractual frameworks.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* Experience with successful P3 deals is a plus.
