The Medical Director provides medical support and advice for clinical trials and safety evaluation within our Pharmacovigilance department.
A day in the life:
* Provide medical leadership to study teams, including protocol creation, review, and approval of clinical documents.
* Real-time medical monitoring of clinical studies to ensure safety and validity.
* Support protocol review, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and educate investigators and site staff.
* Ensure study compliance with SOPs and GCP.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage medical risks and issues.
Candidates with strategic development experience at senior medical director level are considered.
Education:
1. MD, MB/BS or equivalent with strong clinical Rheumatology experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
2. Extensive pharmaceutical industry, clinical trial, and pharmaceutical medicine experience.
3. Fluent in English.
4. Understanding of NDA submission and regulatory guidelines for adverse events.
5. Strong communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
