Head of Production - Daimler Buses Sámano
The Head of Production is responsible for the strategy, efforts, and results of the DB/OPS-P Area. Reporting to the Head of Operation/Technical Director in regard to all activities related to production
The main tasks are defining the Production strategy for the future aligned to the Technical Direction strategy, planning, control and monitoring of corporate goals.
For example, great partnership with all Sales units, Customers, other areas of Samano plant, integrate all different models and harmonizing the production program, to assure the production, delivery times as Customers need. Manage the modifications to quickly and simple implementation. Ensure appropriate implementation and compliance of processes according to rules and regulations provided by law and internal guidelines for all relevant transactions.
Function
* Production Program: To organise any necessary staff, production means, the information flow and material procurement in order to meet the Production Plan on time, with the quality required and ensuring workers health and safety.
* Process and Product Quality: To define the production process and ensure its compliance to ensure the required product quality.
* Personnel: To define the personnel and their required profiles to perform the Production Program on time and with the quality required. Motivate and Engage the People to high performance and reach the Company Objectives.
* Occupational Health and Safety To define and implement corrective and preventive measures to improve worker health and safety
* Process: To define and supervise the execution of the Maintenance Program necessary to maintain the Production Means and the General Site Facilities in an appropriate condition for use and conservation.
* Production: BOS / Kaizen Responsible for the implementation of the BOS (Bus Operating System) at the Site.
* To develop and Foster the integrated management system
Requirements
* Mechanical, Industrial or Electronic Engineer.
* At least five years of professional experience leading teams or relevant projects, preferably in the automotive industry or a multinational corporation.
* Languages: High level of Spanish and English essential, German is highly appreciated.
