Our company is a global leader in innovative packaging solutions. You will join a dynamic, international team collaborating with plants in Spain, France, and Portugal.
Responsibilities:
* Focus on reducing procurement expenses to enable company growth and investment in people.
* Improve procurement category strategies through local and regional synergies, category knowledge development, process optimization, and TCO optimization to meet objectives related to profitability, quality, and project timelines.
* Report to the Procurement Manager for France & Iberia.
Key Tasks:
* Strategy:
Develop supplier information to formulate and monitor category strategies. Lead and execute procurement strategies, develop risk management plans, and understand supply cost structures. Implement KPIs to monitor strategy execution and support business development and cross-sectional projects.
* Sourcing:
Lead regional sourcing processes to meet capacity, quality, cost, and reliability objectives. Identify new suppliers and manage calls for tenders.
* Negotiation:
Develop negotiation strategies to secure optimal terms, reduce costs, and enhance effectiveness.
* Contract Management:
Develop, negotiate, and oversee procurement contracts and agreements.
* Stakeholder Management:
Support plant project teams, ensure requirement clarity, and monitor sourcing activities.
* Troubleshooting:
Address issues related to cost, quality, and delivery, and resolve supplier-plant problems.
* Database Management:
Maintain an approved supplier list and centralize procurement data, including price updates.
Requisites:
* University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
* At least 3 years in a similar industrial procurement role, preferably in packaging.
* Fluent in English, French, and Spanish;
Portuguese is a plus. German and Italian are advantageous.
* Proficient in MS Office.
* Willing to travel up to 30-40% across France, Spain, and Portugal.
* Strong soft skills including emotional intelligence, work ethics, and intercultural management.
* Self-responsible, influential, entrepreneurial, open-minded, autonomous, and structured.
* Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
