**Mission**
We are seeking a dedicated **Process Safety Coordinator** to lead and support the implementation of our Process Safety Management (PSM) system at our Valencia site. This role ensures compliance with general EHS standards and local regulations, contributing to a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.
**Role Overview**
The Process Safety Coordinator will oversee the development, execution, and continuous improvement of process safety programs. This includes risk assessments, audits, training, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain a strong safety culture.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the implementation and monitoring of the Process Safety Management system, including PHA Works and Resin Safety Evaluation programs.
- Track and report key process safety performance indicators (KPIs) and support audits, self-assessments, and corporate EHS reviews.
- Coordinate and update the plant’s safety report and ensure compliance with PSSR and MOC procedures.
- Provide technical support and written reports to EHS, Engineering, and Production teams regarding process safety matters.
- Participate in capital investment and engineering projects, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in process safety.
- Ensure proper use of safety tools and systems (PHA Works, MOC Portal, I-FIX, EHS Scorecard, etc.) and promote a culture of safety and accountability.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Engineering or Chemistry with at least 1 year of relevant experience, or a diploma with 3+ years in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of process safety systems, industrial safety regulations, and EHS standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety-related software tools.
- Ability to lead change, influence stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement.
- Approved by site leadership and current Process Safety Coordinator.
