Job Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced sales leader to position and sell NFV probe-based service assurance solutions. The individual will be engaged in strategic direct and indirect sales and must be based in Europe (ideally Madrid or Lisbon).

Responsibilities:
* Be part of the EMEA sales team. Report to the regional VP.
* Develop business and sell to Tier 1 and Tier 2 Mobile, Fixed, and NGN Providers.
* Exceed annual sales targets and meet pipeline requirements through prospecting and lead generation.
* Develop sales strategies, tactics, and techniques suitable for the regional market environment.
* Establish a strong market presence within the assigned territory and strategic accounts (Telefonica, Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange).
* Devise and implement quarterly and annual sales plans.
* Develop, manage, and nurture new business partnerships to achieve revenue and profit objectives.
* Be a self-starter with experience in developing business strategies with channel partners and local agents.
Requirements:
* 8-10 years of experience as a senior Sales Manager in Europe within the OSS domain.
* Proven success in selling complex telecom systems, mainly software products, to Tier 1-2 Providers.
* High-level understanding of data network infrastructure and NFV technology.
* Strong technical understanding of telecommunications hardware infrastructure.
* Deep contacts with C-Level management for strategic presentations.
* BSc / BA in CS, EE, Telecommunications from a known university.
* Fluent English is mandatory; proficiency in other European languages is advantageous.
* Willing to travel as necessary.
* Experience in multinational organizations is a plus.
* Home-based in Europe.

* Strong character, enthusiastic, and dedicated.
* Ability to work independently and disciplined.
* Autonomous, reliable, and responsible.
* Excellent reporting and communication skills.

Understanding NFV, Mobile Data Monitoring, CEM, and customer needs is ideal. The client is primarily looking for a strong software salesperson with a track record in acquiring new logos with service providers (OSS, BSS, Analytics, etc.).
