Overview
Field Service Engineer (Stoke) at Ocular. Independent Security Systems Integrator with four decades of experience delivering security solutions for high-security, public space, transport, and infrastructure projects throughout the UK and Ireland. Responsibilities
* Provide a reliable, courteous, efficient, and effective service.
* Maintain a positive image of the company to the customer through high standards of dress and customer communications.
* Close or update the helpdesk with the call status at the completion of each service visit.
* Ensure company vehicle is maintained in good working order.
* Demonstrate a high level of personal performance and willingness to help colleagues.
* Flexible approach to working hours and to undertake duties as required by the Service Manager.
* Assist with the call-out rota.
Field Based
* Provide day-to-day care, maintenance, and repair of complex Analogue and Digital CCTV Systems on public highways, shopping malls, custodial and general areas.
* Maintain functional and managed control rooms.
* Maintain multi-site Access Control Systems.
* Support and maintain Perimeter Detection Systems.
* Complete a planned preventative maintenance regime.
* Occasional nights away.

* Strong customer-focused communication and telephone manner.
Qualifications
* Sound knowledge of CCTV, IT and PID systems on varying scales.
* Sound knowledge of Access Control systems with Site Mustering.
* Sound knowledge of DVR & NVR systems.
* On-site repair capability.
* Desirable knowledge in areas such as PID’s, Galaxy Alarms, Cortech GUI, CEM Access Control, Synergy, Video Matrix Systems, IP systems, Networks, RAID Recording, and first-line repairs on gates and barriers.
