Role Overview
This is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for building and executing the national sales strategy for robotic systems. The National Sales Manager will lead and mentor a high performing team, open new accounts, negotiate commercial frameworks and drive expansion across multiple regions.
The role requires someone with strong commercial judgement, sales leadership experience and the ability to influence hospital stakeholders at board and C‑suite level. You will be the driving force in national adoption, steering positioning, pricing, deals, team performance and long term market penetration.
Key Responsibilities
Lead sales strategy and execution across the Spanish market for robotic surgery solutions
Manage, coach and develop regional robotic sales and clinical specialists
Own national revenue targets, forecasting, territory planning and quarterly sales performance
Build and maintain relationships with hospital boards, medical directors, procurement leaders and clinical decision makers
Oversee negotiations for national framework agreements, volume pricing and commercial proposals
Support key demos, tenders, evaluations and technology adoption pathways
Identify new business opportunities and scale presence across Spain
Collaborate closely with marketing and clinical teams to build go‑to‑market plans
Track performance metrics, sales KPIs and pipeline reporting to senior leadership
Represent at congresses, demos, product launches and clinical events
Work cross‑functionally to develop tailored value propositions based on client needs
Ideal Experience
At least 5 to 8 years experience in medical device or hospital capital equipment sales
Previous success managing a sales team on a national or multi‑region basis
Experience working with hospitals, procurement and clinical stakeholders
Background in surgical robotics, minimally invasive surgery, xpzdshu urology or ultrasound
Comfortable discussing technical clinical solutions and workflows
Strong financial negotiation ability for high value capital deals
Excellent communicator with confidence presenting at senior level
Fluent Spanish and strong level of English
Willing to travel nationally to customer sites and internal meetings
