Telecommunications System Engineer (m/f)

Position Summary – Key Responsibilities and Principal Tasks
He/she participates in the design of Telecom payloads.
During the development phase (up to CDR):
- Analyze customer needs and validate detailed architecture.
- Specify and define interfaces for Payload sub‑systems and equipment, in coordination with System Engineering (especially when throughput requirements) and also with Satellite (global sizing and consistency).
- Perform performance analyses and check compatibility with satellite and TCR.
- Establish Payload system budget (RF, M&C;, TM/TC), check compliance with satellite interface requirements, validate accommodation (w.r.t. Payload constraints).
- Follow up sub‑systems and equipment up to final acceptance of functional models.
During Payload/Satellite AIT phase:
- Collaborate with IVVQ and AIT department to establish verification plans, test requirements, and test configurations/conditions.
- Validate tests relative to cross‑check, performance and payload operability.
Skills and Ideal Experience
Degree in Engineering, preferably Telecom engineering.

- Transmission, link budget
- Languages: English, Spanish essential; French a plus
- Responsible, pragmatic, results oriented, agile and dynamic, rigorous
- Good team and communication skills
