Job Summary: A senior Project Manager responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through completion. The role involves managing multiple stakeholders, lead teams, and ensuring projects meet cost, deadline and quality objectives in a high‑pressure, space‑sector environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure projects meet costs and deadlines.
- Manage project progress and adapt work as required.
- Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Lead risk and opportunity identification throughout the program.
- Design risk mitigation plans and secure opportunities when initiating new projects.
- Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for executive staff.
- Coordinate staff and internal resources.
- Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
- Manage large and diverse teams.
- Lead project planning sessions.
- Optimize and improve processes and overall approach as necessary.
- Participate in tender processes, including design, submission and review.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of project management experience.
- Formal qualifications in Engineering, Business Administration or Management.
- English language proficiency; additional languages are a plus.
- Capacity to manage high‑stress situations and multi‑task across project elements.
- Strong leadership skills and big‑picture thinking.
- Excellent conflict‑resolution skills, attention to detail and financial basics.
