A leading international manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the people agenda at its Spanish production site.
This is a strategically important role, acting as the key HR business partner to site leadership while connecting the Spanish operation with the wider European HR function.
The successful candidate will play a central role in workforce planning, employee engagement, organisational development and operational HR performance, while ensuring corporate HR policies are effectively implemented at site level.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary HR partner to the Spanish site leadership team
Support workforce planning, organisational development and people strategy
Lead employee engagement and retention initiatives
Ensure HR policies and procedures are implemented in line with corporate standards and Spanish legislation
Manage the full employee lifecycle from recruitment through to termination
Lead payroll coordination with third‑party providers
Oversee works council responsibilities and local compliance
Create and manage annual training plans and development initiatives
Collaborate with European HR leadership on regional projects, systems and initiatives
Support HR process improvement and modernisation across the site
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a collaborative, commercially aware and forward‑thinking HR professional with experience operating in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Key Requirements
Proven HR leadership or HR business partnering experience within manufacturing or industrial sectors
Strong experience supporting operational leadership teams
In‑depth knowledge of Spanish labour legislation and employment frameworks
Works council experience essential
Experience within international or matrix organisations
Fluent Spanish and strong English language skills
Strong employee engagement, retention and organisational development capabilities
