The Position
IT - SAP MDG - Finance Master Data Expert
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Serve as an IT Expert and Consultant for the SAP MDG – Finance Master Data Global Template team, focusing on designing, implementing, and continuously improving the Global Template.
* Collaborate closely with Business Product, Process, and Content owners to plan and execute improvements to the Global Template solution.
* Support functional roles including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, system configuration, and testing.
* Coordinate tasks with other functional IT teams such as Build and Test factories to ensure timely and quality execution.
* Conduct feasibility studies and process design reviews for SAP S/4HANA / MDG - Finance Master Data solutions.
* Manage SAP S/4HANA / MDG – Finance Master Data issues, including data migration, harmonization, and IT integration, ensuring adherence to global template principles.
Must Have:
* Educational background from a renowned university in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related fields.
* At least 6+ years of experience in SAP Finance Master Data.
* Minimum of 2 full implementation projects involving SAP MDG - Finance Module.
* Strong functional understanding of SAP Finance Master Data concepts, including Record To Report.
* Hands-on experience with SAP Customizing and ABAP for design, implementation, and debugging.
* Experience with SAP Solution Manager and Focus Build cycles.
* Excellent team collaboration skills and ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong communication, consulting, and presentation skills, with analytical thinking and an agile, result-oriented approach.
* Ownership mindset and leadership in business discussions and decision-making.
* Ability to report and drive resolution of solution and SAP product defects.
* Fluent in business English.
Good to Have:
* Experience with project methodologies like SAFe, Agile, Activate.
* Familiarity with project tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow.
* Experience working in multicultural environments and onsite-offshore models.
Nice to Have:
* Basic understanding of SAP BTP applications.
* Basic knowledge of middleware applications.
