Overview
Avanade is focused on Azure cloud technologies and digital innovation. The Azure Platform Community is growing, with a focus on designing, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions for customers. This role involves working with Microsoft technologies on client projects as part of the Solutioning Team, aiming to deliver tangible outcomes that improve how people work, interact, and live.
Responsibilities
* Design, plan, propose and implement Azure Platform solutions, with emphasis on AKS for container orchestration
* Communicate effectively with clients, sales teams, consultants, and client teams; translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
* Automate infrastructure (IaC) using ARM/Terraform/Bicep/YAML and script with PowerShell/Bash/Azure CLI
* Apply DevOps practices, GitOps and automation
* Engage with and advise clients, write high-level and detailed designs, and define architectural topologies
* Leverage Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Enterprise Scale concepts
* Collaborate in both large and small teams to design and implement solutions
Qualifications / Skills
* Experience designing, planning, proposing and implementing Azure Platform solutions
* Customer-facing experience; ability to balance value and solution complexity
* Experience leading technical teams and guiding less experienced members
* Analytical, curious, agile; strong communication and teamwork
* Problem-solving, quality-driven, self-motivated with an innovative mindset
* Experience with Azure Infrastructure technologies (Open Source on Azure, Kubernetes, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Front Door, Azure Migrate) and Azure DevOps (CI/CD)

What You'll Do
* Participate in both presales and delivery activities; gain on-the-job experience for new proposals
* Collaborate with cross-technical teams within Avanade Spain to solve cross-technology problems
* Design, defend and propose Azure Native solutions that meet customer needs
* Advise clients on governance, stability, and adapting to changing business needs
* Work on projects spanning the full Azure platform (IaaS and PaaS) deployed with Infrastructure as Code
* Architect Azure solutions across subscriptions, networking, security, compute, storage, and operations
* Apply knowledge of Azure Infrastructure technologies (Open Source on Azure, Kubernetes, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Front Door, Azure Migrate) and Azure DevOps
