PAt Faes Farma, where we combine passion, science and innovation to transform people's health, we want to incorporate a bResearch Scientist in Purification Unit /b /ppWe are looking to incorporate into our R+D team, in the Drug Discovery area, a person who contributes to the development of new compounds through the purification and characterization of molecules in highly automated environments. /ppbr/ppbWhat will your mission be? /b /ppbr/ppYou will be integrated into the purification unit, being responsible for ensuring that compounds with the required purity levels are obtained, contributing to the advancement of research projects. /ppbr/ppbMain responsibilities /b /ppbr/pulliPerform purification of organic compounds using preparative HPLC and mass-directed systems. /liliDevelop and optimize purification methods based on the chemical properties of the compounds. /liliSelect appropriate columns, moving phases, and gradients for each process. /liliExecute manual and automated workflows within the lab pipeline. /liliAnalyze the purity of compounds using UPLC and LC-MS. /liliInterpret chromatograms and select fractions for combination. /liliRecord analytical results in data management systems (LIMS, ELN). /liliOperate equipment (Agilent, Waters) and associated software (OpenLab, MaxLims, or others). /liliPerform basic maintenance, calibrations, and initial resolution of incidents. /liliCollaborate with synthetic chemistry, analytics, and automation teams. /liliParticipate in the continuous improvement of purification processes and technologies. /liliEnsure compliance with quality and safety standards in the laboratory. /li /ulpbr/ppbWhat are we looking for? /b /ppbr/pulliBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology or related areas. /liliMaster's Degree in Industrial Chemistry, Therapeutic Chemistry or other related fields is an asset. /liliMinimum experience of 1 year in: /li /ulp Purification of compounds by means of preparative HPLC. /pp Automated purification environments (high-throughput). /pp Use of Agilent and Waters equipment. /pp Management of software such as OpenLab, MaxLims or equivalent LIMS systems. /pulliHigh level of English for scientific-technical environment. /li /ulpbr/ppbWe will especially value /b /ppbr/pulliAbility to solve problems in chromatography and optimization of methods. /liliRigor in the management and traceability of analytical data. /liliOrganization and ability to work with multiple samples simultaneously. /liliTeamwork in multidisciplinary environments. /liliProactive mindset oriented towards continuous improvement. /li /ulpbr/ppAt Faes Farma we believe in the capacity and talent of people.
