The Difference You Make:
The Sr. Associate, Application Development serves as a senior developer and/or project manager for multiple application initiatives. You will analyze, design, develop, and maintain software applications to support business units, providing solutions with minimal management guidance. You will oversee systems design, create project plans, and support existing software applications, offering subject matter expertise in resolving complex issues.
Responsibilities:
Program in operating systems and languages such as Python, R, Java, Scala.
Design, develop, and maintain data-driven applications and services that integrate with banking systems.
Build data pipelines and maintain automation frameworks to streamline workflows.
Leverage SQL for data modeling, query optimization, and managing structured data.
Provide technical support and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
Evaluate and support Web Application Server enhancements and perform QA functions.
Ensure security, performance, and compliance within a banking context.
Act as a subject matter expert, providing leadership and mentorship.
Possess knowledge of data quality and management platforms, such as Informatica.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related field.
Experience in IT, application development, or similar roles.
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, Snowflake.
Knowledge of automation frameworks (Power Automate, Python scripting, etc.).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Understanding of event-driven architectures (Kafka, Pub/Sub).
Familiarity with financial data domains and tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis.
Ability to assess emerging technologies against business needs.
