Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Development Manager responsible for driving new business, maintaining existing client relationships, and growing client accounts while representing our brand.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Account Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and identify upselling opportunities.
* New Business Development: Conduct market research, generate new leads, and develop sales strategies to acquire new clients.
* Revenue Growth: Set and achieve sales targets, monitor performance, and implement initiatives to maximize revenue.
* Strategic Planning: Analyze market trends, collaborate on strategic plans, and align sales strategies with organizational goals.
* Service Proposition Expansion: Stay informed on industry trends, work with product teams to incorporate new features, and enhance service offerings.
* Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead negotiations, secure favorable agreements, and ensure contract compliance.
* Professional Development: Keep abreast of industry best practices, attend training, and enhance skills.
Qualifications and Experiences:
* At least 10 years of B2B sales experience in industrial markets or commodities, preferably in oil and gas, energy, chemical, petrochemical, or related sectors.
* Experience in renewable energy sectors such as photovoltaic, wind, or bioenergy.
* Proven success in selling complex technical services to major industrial clients globally.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in technology, engineering, or business.
* Minimum of 5 years managing professional sales teams.
