This role acts as a key functional link between the business community and the IT/development teams globally, focusing on leveraging software tools to optimize business processes within the Electronics Manufacturing industry.Detailed DescriptionWork with business and IT users globally to identify business needs, define scope, requirements, identifying key issues, designing & presenting the solution, testing, system implementation, and training.Liaises with the business community to understand business processes and defines how software tools can be leveraged to optimize the business process.Manage projects and assist development teams in understanding requirements and application design.Create and maintain necessary documentation, such as blueprint, solution design, test scripts, user manual, and system setup.Assist users on system setup and configuration during implementation.Provide 2nd-level support service to site IT/Business Teams.Knowledge/Skills/CompetenciesExcellent English communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)Ability to explain technical ideas clearlyGood negotiation skillsGood teamwork skillsStakeholder ManagementAbility to work under pressure and deadlinesProject management skillsCan work independently and require less supervisionTakes initiative and keen to learn new system conceptsKnowledge or experience with full system development life cycleWilling and able to travel when neededWilling to keep up to date with developments in technologyBachelor or Masters degree in IT, Engineering, or related fieldAt least 7 years of working experience in either IT/Engineering field in an Electronics Manufacturing industry; Or experience in Project Management/System Analyst/Business Analyst role preferably in a software development environmentNotesThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities of the position.
