As a new reality sets in at KENZO, Artistic Director Nigo reconnects with the values entrenched in the early beginnings of the Maison: designer fashion created for real life, imbued with the playful urbanity of Kenzo Takada’s timeless legacy. A creative exchange, KENZO becomes an evolving dialogue between the pop culture of the founder’s heritage and the street culture inherent to Nigo.
Through Nigo’s instinct for contemporary design, a new vision takes shape at KENZO: ‘real-to-wear’, a genuine wardrobe founded in the authentic desires of the post-digital mentality. It is a realistic approach to fashion, which transcends the conventional labels of ‘formal’, ‘casual’ or ‘street’ in favour of the syntheses that make up real wardrobes today.
Business and Client Developer
* Lead relevant business analysis to implement action plans (VM, products, commercial operations, etc.) to achieve revenue and profitability ambitions
* Communicate high quality feedback and reporting to HQ and/or team
* Attract, recruit, develop clients (ensure a perfect welcoming and full support of the customer journey)
* Know and monitor business environment including local competition
* Develop local client data base, contribute to events success and drive individual performance through KPIs analysis (individual and global)
Talent and People Developer
* Identify and recruit talents
* Assess, develop and promote talents (individual development plans for the team)
* Empower and challenge the team (morning briefing, monthly one to one and feedback, individual and collective objectives, coaching, etc.) in coherence with the qualitative and quantitative ambitions of the Maison.
* Ensure the autonomy of the team to guarantee a business continuity at any time
Leader
* Lead by example (adopt and irreproachable behavior and remain faithful to the brand image)
* Adaptability and flexibility (work effectively in any situation while accompanying change within the Maison, learn to manage complexity and deal with objections)
* Know the company’s organization and develop and effective network
* Entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset
Brand Promoter (Clients)
* Promote the culture of Kenzo Paris internally and externally (master Kenzo Paris strategy to become a privilege interlocutor, develop relations with business partners – personal shoppers, personal stylists, etc.)
* Ensure that the standards of the Point of Sales uphold brand image (VM, cleaning, maintenance, etc.)
* Develop a deep fashion culture and awareness (products, fashion trends and competitors)
Process Manager
* Ensure that all the processes follow local regulations (HR, security and safety), Store HandBook, CSR
* Suggest improvements for current processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications
* 3+ years’ experience in a luxury retail environment, with a minimum of 2 years directly managing people.
* Entrepreneurial perspective and ability to succeed in fast changing environments.
* Ability to analyze selling reports and identify business trends and opportunities.
* Clienteling.
* Proven experience driving positive customer interactions.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills.
* Passion to inspire and influence a team with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
* Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
