We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our BT Security team. Reporting to the Security Manager, this position will play a key role in supporting, implementing, and operating the organization's cybersecurity strategies The specialist will actively collaborate in protecting critical assets, monitoring and detecting threats, responding to incidents, and enforcing security controls, working closely with Business Technology teams. The specialist possesses a solid foundation in security technologies, risk analysis, and cybersecurity best practices.
What will the role entail?
* Actively monitor security systems, detect anomalies, and respond effectively to security incidents.
* Administer and operate key security solutions, including SIEM, EDR / XDR, SOAR, and Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIP).
* Conduct periodic vulnerability assessments, evaluate risks, and coordinate the implementation of remediation plans.
* Participate in and contribute to projects aimed at the continuous improvement of the cybersecurity posture.
* Collaborate closely with Technology and Business teams to ensure the integration and adherence to security policies and standards.
* Contribute to the definition and updating of information security procedures, policies, and standards.
* Participate in internal and external audits related to information security.
* Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and emerging technologies.
* Support the promotion of a cybersecurity-aware culture within the organization and contribute to the development of awareness and training materials.

Requirements
* Between 2-5 years of experience in a similar role
* Demonstrable experience in cybersecurity or information security roles. Hands-on experience in security monitoring, incident analysis, and vulnerability management is required. Relevant cybersecurity certifications are highly valued (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, GIAC certifications, cloud security certifications, or similar).
* Solid understanding of network security concepts (Firewalls, IDS / IPS, segmentation).
* Experience with vulnerability management tools and system hardening techniques.
o Familiarity with security architectures and controls in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
* Practical experience with SIEM and EDR / XDR tools.
* Understanding of key regulations and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, OWASP Top 10, GDPR).
* Critical and analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
* Proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
