Job Description:
We are seeking a Global Insurance Head of Risk and Compliance based in our Boadilla office, responsible for overseeing Risk and Compliance functions within a new Insurance Holding operating across Santander Group countries.
Responsibilities include:
* Defining risk strategy aligned with the company's risk appetite.
* Supervising the implementation of risk and compliance standards.
* Proactively identifying risks and deviations, and discussing them with stakeholders.
* Controlling subsidiaries and evaluating risks related to insurance products.
* Supervising Solvency II reporting: ORSA, SFCR, FST, QRTs.
* Validating SCR and MCR capital calculations at the group level.
* Supporting the group's reporting processes.
* Reporting to the Board of Directors and risk committees.
Experience: Over 10 years in risk management roles within insurance companies or consulting firms.
Education: Degree in Economics, Business Administration (Insurance preferred), Engineering, or Mathematics.
Skills & Knowledge: Solvency II regulations, risk management, insurance and banking compliance.
Other Information: Responsible for strategic compliance and conduct agendas in collaboration with wider functions and business areas. Fluency in Spanish required.
