Department description:
Group Finance ensures the delivery of financial performance of the business as per the targets; manages capital, liquidity, M&A, investments and investors’ relationship; is in charge of budget, forecasting and reporting (in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory frameworks); manages the Group’s tax position and litigations.

The overall objective of the Group Finance Transformation & Operating Office department is to continuously improve how Finance teams operate, with three overarching targets: (i) better serve the business, (ii) boost and motivate teams by simplifying processes and modernizing tools and (iii) increase our effectiveness, both in terms of time and costs. Three teams compose the department, working closely together:
* Data Operations & Innovation team encompasses all activities related to data operations and services to finance teams through the continuous development and support of actuarial tools, analytics & reporting, investments’ forecasting tool
* The Transformation Program Management team is in charge of leading and monitoring the implementation of the transformation program Ovide
* The Transformation Strategy team supports transversally the monitoring of expenses for both BAU and Ovide program and provides PMO and change management expertise to (i) manage the pace of the program and delivery of transformation plan on time and budget and (ii) define the needs to conduct change in finance teams in collaboration with HR
Your job and daily missions:
Your scope will cover both the BAU and project costs not considered in Ovide, as well as the value tracking of Ovide initiatives.
Your main duties will be to contribute to the following activities supporting the Senior Expense Management Lead (as your functional manager):
* Monitoring the costs of the transformation department: BAU and project costs (not considered in Ovide) related to data operations and reporting activities notably for accounting, controlling and investment as well as innovation activities (e.g. AI/Gen AI):
* Actively participate in the simplification and budget reductions required by management by identifying easy-to-implement levers
* Consolidate and monitor the annual transformation department budget and be the key referent on this subject
* Set up and maintain value tracking approach to monitor investments and savings related to Ovide initiatives (around 15 initiatives with a total investment of €180m)
* Build a framework for tracking the program’s value creation (incl. investments, run costs & savings), ensure integration within existing financial reporting processes and calendar
* Over implementation phase:
* Monitor and report on progress against value creation goals
* Contribute to the annual financial planning and budgeting process
* Engage with key stakeholders to maintain clear and ongoing awareness of the program’s financial status

* Excellent level of English (written & oral)
* Requires 2 to 4 years of experience in finance, ideally on expense management related activities
