About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a utility scale solar PV project currently under construction in the Murcia region.
As the on-site lead, you’ll represent the project owner’s interests, ensuring the EPC contractor and subcontractors deliver on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead day-to-day site management, acting as the client’s representative on-site.
* Monitor and report on EPC contractor performance, construction progress, and schedule adherence.
* Coordinate with engineering, grid, procurement, and permitting teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
* Ensure compliance with HSE, environmental, and quality standards.
* Manage site-level interface with local authorities, landowners, and stakeholders.
* Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
Requirements
5+ years’ experience managing large-scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects, ideally in utility-scale solar PV.
Strong track record in site-based project execution across civil, electrical, and mechanical scopes.
Solid understanding of EPC contract structures and project delivery workflows.
Fluent in English; professional Spanish is a strong advantage.
EU work authorisation and flexibility to be based near site for the duration of the project.
Nice to Have
* Experience with bifacial modules and tracking systems.
* Background in overseeing substations or medium-voltage grid connections.
* Familiarity with Iberian permitting and environmental processes.
