What we offer
- Internship (curricular practicum) program + Bachelor’s Degree Final Project (TFG).

- Tutor assignment for continuous monitoring
Mission
You will prepare a final year training project that will allow you to complete your official studies.
Final degree project (TFG)
From the very first day, the student will be immersed in an industrial environment dedicated to the production of advanced aerospace components made from carbon fiber composites, used in the construction of the Airbus family of commercial aircraft. The experience will be located at Airbus Illescas Plant, in the Performance & Improvement department. The student will work in an environment with a strong Lean Manufacturing culture, embodied in Airbus Operating System known as AOS. The scope of the Final degree project (TFG) consists of the analysis of the deployment of the AOS at a new production line:
- Cargo door production line is being launched, and P&I; must ensure the creation of new routines and the consistency of the whole system
- Each line has different specificities and priorities, so we have to apply our standards, but with flexibility
- For a new line, we have to ease the cultural change, reducing resistance to change
The deliverable will be a document that sequentially describes the student’s experience and includes the theoretical concepts applied (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Balanced Scorecard, Key Performance Indicators, Design of Experiments), as well as the reasoning, results, and conclusions/recommendations derived from the process.
