Responsibilities
Radio system integration in EF**** platform.
Involvement in other Airbus DS Military Aircraft platforms (C295, MRTT, A400M, ED, SIRTAP)
Allocating aircraft requirements to a Communications System.
Defining the architecture and specifications of the Communications system.
Elaborating engineering design documentation.
Being responsible for Communications system design, integration, qualification and certification.
Supporting feasibility studies for new products/user needs.
Supplier technical management.
Supporting the whole design process including design review meetings.
Meeting with end customer.
Supporting Certification and Qualification process.
Supporting Technical Publications (AFM, FCOM, etc.).
Supporting transversal areas such as Services, Production, Procurement, etc.
Supporting test campaign sequencing, test procedures & facilities.
Monitoring and supporting tests and performing real-time analysis of test results.
Contributing to R&T; programs related to SDR/SCA Radios.
Keeping state of the art knowledge of international regulations: ICAO, FAA, EASA, EUROCONTROL, etc.
Qualifications
Telecommunications Engineering degree or similar.
3 years of experience in systems engineering or development of avionics system.
Good knowledge of Communication Functions in other platforms.
Background knowledge: Inmarsat/Iridium Satcom, Radios (V/UHF, VHF, HF), Civil Datalink (FANS, CPDLC).
International project experience.
Strong English and Spanish skills.
Good communication skills and pro-active approach to problem solving.
Ability to work under strict timescales as part of an integrated and multifunctional team.
Assertiveness.
Open minded and active to new challenges.
