In this Category Manager role, you will lead category procurement strategy and oversee end-to-end procurement with a specialist team within AbbVie. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders to shape strategic plans and drive sustainable sourcing, cost savings, and process improvements. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, supplier innovation, and risk management to deliver long-term business value. This is a hands-on, strategic position in a fast-paced pharma environment that shapes procurement outcomes at scale.

• Relay market insights to leadership to inform decisions and monitor industry trends
• Manage value drivers with key suppliers to achieve cost savings and process optimization
• Oversee supplier ESG performance and promote sustainable sourcing practices
• Enable SRM strategies and drive innovative collaborations with suppliers
• Implement procurement risk mitigation and ensure policy compliance
• Lead cross-functional projects from initiation to completion

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field xpzdshu
• Minimum 7 years in procurement, supply chain, or related function
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry preferred
• Category management expertise with market analysis and financial assessment
• Negotiation assistance and bid management experience
• Strong supplier relationship management capabilities
• Problem-solving and change management skills
• Cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
• Fluent in English
