We are looking for experienced
RF Planning / RAN Engineers
to support a
railway telecommunications modernisation programme in Spain, involving the evolution of legacy
GSM-R infrastructure towards FRMCS and next-generation 5G mission-critical communication networks .
This role focuses on
radio access network design, RF planning and optimisation
within mission-critical telecom environments.
Key Responsibilities
RF planning and design of
radio access networks
Analysis and optimisation of
GSM-R, LTE and 5G radio networks
Coverage planning, capacity planning and interference analysis
Support the evolution of
railway communication systems towards FRMCS
Network modelling and simulation using RF planning tools
Preparation of technical documentation and engineering recommendations
Collaboration with core network and transport teams
Required Experience
Experience with
5G, LTE or GSM radio networks
Strong understanding of
RAN architecture and optimisation
Experience working in
telecommunications engineering environments
Preferred Experience
GSM-R or railway telecommunications
FRMCS or mission-critical communication systems
RF planning tools such as
Atoll, Planet or Asset
Radio network optimisation and performance analysis
Experience working on
large telecom infrastructure programmes
Qualifications
Master’s xpzdshu or Bachelor’s degree in
Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering or similar
Minimum
3–5 years experience in RF planning or radio network engineering
Mandatory Requirements
Spanish citizenship or residency
Based in Spain
Available for a
6–9 month full-time assignment
