PhD position in the development of new drugs to treat brain cancer using new derivatives based on phosphorus heterocycles. This is a contract to carry out a doctoral thesis under the supervision of Prof. Elzbieta Regulska in the group of Prof. Carlos Romero-Nieto at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Albacete.
Tareas
This project will be part of an international consortium of five research groups focused on the investigation of new drugs for the treatment of brain cancer. The objective will be the synthesis and characterization of new molecular systems that overcome the efficiency of the drugs already established by the group and open new research possibilities towards a better treatment of brain cancer.
**Requisitos**:
- A degree in Chemistry and a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Biochemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry is a plus. Experience in organic synthesis is a must. Experience in medicinal chemistry, experience in the use of chromatographic techniques (HPLC and column chromatography), as well as experience with characterization techniques such as NMR will be positively valued.
