Transferring data sources and pipelines to Snowflake cloud databases, so experience with Snowflake Data Engineering or cloud databases is highly beneficial.Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake.Optimizing Snowflake data warehouse performance and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.What UST expects from you :
Experience with Snowflake Data Engineering or cloud databases.Hands-on experience with Airflow and DBT.Experience constructing tests and deploying via automated release pipelines.Solid understanding of data modeling, ideally from a computer science or engineering background, though relevant industry experience is also valued.Proficiency in Python for Data Engineering in a commercial setting.Excellent understanding of ETL / ELT patterns, idempotency, and data engineering best practices.Experience with data modeling techniques such as 3rd normal form, star schemas, and wide / tall projections.Strong SQL skills, including writing optimized SQL code and knowledge of different SQL engines.Knowledge of agile methodologies and ability to contribute to team success.Understanding of building robust data pipelines that handle failures and maintain metadata.Optional qualifications :
Snowflake or DBT certifications.Experience in a cloud environment, especially with AWS or Azure.Experience integrating Data Warehouse / Data pipelines with Data Governance tools like Collibra.Proficiency in English (C1 level), as you'll be working with international teams.Work location :
