Applied Medical is expanding, and we are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our European headquarters in Amersfoort (Netherlands). In this essential role, you will ensure the reliable operation of our new sterilization facility by installing, maintaining, and repairing production equipment in line with technical instructions, safety standards, and quality regulations.
This position is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong mechatronics knowledge, a proactive mindset, and the ambition to grow in a hightech, regulated manufacturing environment.
Amersfoort is a historical town in the middle of the Netherlands with a vibrant city center, beautiful nature and fun hotspots.Dutch culture is reflected in the canals and cozy terraces and our building is located about 10 minutes by bike from the city center.
Please note: This is an on-site role and requires relocation to the Netherlands. We offer a relocation allowance and support throughout the process.
**Key Responsibilities **
- Install, maintain and repair new and existing (production) equipment in our sterilization facility
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and complete all associated controlled documentation
- Monitor, maintain and adjust equipment according to validated data and instructions to ensure products meet our quality standards
- Troubleshoot technical issues using analytical, mathematical, or research-based methods
- Assist with the commissioning, testing and qualification of new equipment
- Ordering and maintaining appropriate stock of equipment, spare parts and tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment following 5S principles
- Work safely in ATEX zones and comply with all safety procedures
**Your Profile**
- Experience as Maintenance Technician, ideally in a manufacturing, industrial or sterilization environment (e.g. manufacturing of medical devices or pharmaceuticals, chemical manufacturing)
- Hands-on experience with steam boilers, valves, pneumatic systems, and pressure valves
- Skilled using workshop tools such as grinders, column drills, bandsaws
- Willing to work in two shifts (6:00-15:00 and 15:00-0:00)
