Impactful Work:
The Medical Director will provide medical support and advice for clinical trials and safety evaluations within the Pharmacovigilance department.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide medical leadership to study teams, including creating clinical trial protocols, reviewing and approving study documents, and ensuring scientific accuracy.
Monitor clinical studies in real-time to ensure medical validity and subject safety, addressing issues proactively.
Support protocol review, liaise with internal groups, and serve as the main contact between sponsors and internal departments throughout all study phases.
Interact with investigators, answer questions from IRBs and Health Authorities, and provide medical training to site staff.
Ensure compliance with SOPs and GCP for all medical aspects of the study.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify medical risks and results.
Candidates with senior-level experience in strategic development are encouraged to apply.
Education:
MD, MB / BS or equivalent degree with strong clinical experience in Rheumatology practice.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, clinical trials, and pharmaceutical medicine.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Understanding of NDA submission processes and regulatory guidelines for adverse event reporting.
Strong communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
