Experteer OverviewAs a Senior Research Scientist in water resources, you help translate scientific insights into decision-ready guidance for water management under a changing climate. You will join the Climate Change and Resource Efficiency team to deliver research, advise colleagues, and liaise with science providers. Your work supports resilient water resources, informs policy, and advances our understanding of climate impacts. This role offers a chance to lead research projects, collaborate broadly, and contribute to the Environment Agency's evidence-based regulation and adaptation efforts.

Responsabilidades
- experience as a research scientist with project management
- strong numeracy with data analysis and interpretation
- detailed understanding of water resources science and management
- relevant degree;
likely to have PhD, MRes, MSc or equivalent
- desirable familiarity with UK water resource data and models
- desirable familiarity with UK Climate Projections in a water context
- good communicator able to explain complex scientific information to non-specialists
- ability to work with internal and external customers
