Overview
Project Assurance (RAMS) professional rail market – Siemens Mobility, Tres Cantos, Community of Madrid, Spain.
Responsibilities
* Lead System Assurance and Verification activities for assigned Main Line projects to ensure that technical solutions and processes are fit for the applicable regulations, starting with system concept analysis, assurance and V&V plan preparation, and collaboration in the preparation of the integration strategy leading to final validation of the solutions.
* Coordinate assurance activities and act as a primary internal and external contact toward global customers and stakeholders, clarifying and coordinating interfaces with other specialist areas, organizational units and customers as required.
* Support and be involved in strategic initiatives of the System Assurance & Test Automation Area and participate in bid phases of projects worldwide.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably electrical/electronic with railways specialization).
* Experience in Rail Signaling with knowledge of MT signaling solutions (ETCS L1, ETCS L2, Core Signalling principles).
* Experience as RAMS engineer.
* Knowledge of CENELEC RAMS standards (EN50126, EN50129, EN50128, EN50159).
* Knowledge of EU directives such as UE 402/2013.
* Hands-on experience in Hazards Management and identification, SIL and THR ratings.
* Hands-on experience in RAMS studies (FMEA, FMECA, FTAs, etc.).
* Experience in requirements management, traceability and validation; desirable hands-on experience as tester or equivalent.
* Strong self-motivation with focus on customer needs while meeting project KPIs; excellent communication and negotiation skills; team player.
* Fluent in English and Spanish; willingness to travel; self-confident and proactive.
